Freshfood starts in 2007 as a collaboration between Angelo Pomposo and Flavio Folco. Both have been djing for more than 10 years around Europe. Angelo has been producing since 2004, when he set up his first label Primitive Beat, while Flavio is already a very promising up-and-coming Dj-producer. Their background influences their production, which ranges from Detroit techno to more modern European minimal and tech-house sounds. The inspiration for the label comes from the features of actual 'fresh food', its quality and fresh 'taste'... This is also the aim for future productions, although Freshfood is always open to new ideas and sounds. The first release, "Mediterraneo E.P.", already received widespread positive feedback from established names such as Xpansul, Jeff Milligan, Stewart Walker. The second release "Adriatico E.P.", features a remix from veteran techno dj/producer Dave Tarrida, which will also contribute with more material on future releases. The third "Pacifico E.P"(coming out soon) sees A-inc (Akira Ishihara) injecting new blood into the proceedings with a very classy and interesting rmx. More surprises are to be expected from Freshfood digital, which will propose new producers with different takes in digital format. Stay tuned.
