Smoke Joke Records was born in January 2008 and it is based in Bologna (Italy), created by Ivan iacobucci, experienced Italian DJ/Producer and by other young talents around Europe. Smoke Joke has a wide range of sounds, with a preference for the new deep house,afro and tech. Smoke Joke's aim is to issue a release per month and to collaborate with the big names of the International scene of techno house music. Ivan Iacobucci professional career starts in the 90s, his trademark is all in his sets, deep, with vocals but also filled with dark sounds, Detroit underground style. As remixer and producer he gets noticed immediately thanks to a few great productions: his fantastic remix of Juan Atkins "Is this real?" produced under the name KGB, the wonderful "Detroit 909" and the project Misterious "ElectroShock" and over 70 more productions which got him mentioned and listed with other top International DJs. His DJ residency is now at Love Ground, one of the trendiest parties in Bologna, Italian city where he actually lives, but he still keeps on traveling through Italy and abroad always carrying his beloved vinyls!! 2 years ago he founded Smoke Joke Records, label now at its third production that will be released in January: "Lazy Sheep e.p." including 4 tracks. One of these tracks has been remixed by amazing DJs/Producers Anthea and Alex Celler, Alex is well known for his great productions with Cecille, Freack, N' Chic, Tuning Spork and Remote Area.
